Veere Di weddding movie review

With the fact that movie relates to only a tiny part of the Indian audience, I am pretty sure that many will find some discomfort while watching the movie. And if you are planning to watch it, make sure you go with your friends and not with family. The movie revolves around the lives of 4 girls who live life in their own terms and Uber :-P (Its an inside joke. U will get to know y I said that when u watch the movie). The major plus of the movie would be, it has touched almost all human emotions like love- both romantic and family wala, friendship, pride, laughter, confusion, mistakes and re-bonding. And has some great dialogues that are very casually delivered in chit chat kind of conversation. The comedy is mostly sarcastic and makes you smile effortlessly. What may create the discomfort would be the projection of feminism with the girls speaking foul language, boozing, smoking, masturbating, living together, pre marital sex and spending parents’ money relentlessly. But on the other side, being independent, making your own choices and decisions, taking no shit from anyone is also pictured. But the movie does miss the proper balance between these things for sure. Yes, u can watch it once. But please don’t take away any message from the movie. It may not help much.
