He amazes me

I was not much of the spiritual kind of girl. In fact, there was a time in my life that I called myself an atheist.
This happened when I was in my 2nd year of college. I was travelling back home for some vacation. And like always, I traveled alone (which I hate). So I plug my ear phones into my head and listen to songs on my ipod to kill time. Usually I dont talk to my co-passengers. But that day, a lady came and sat next to me. I dint even look at her. Something inside told me to talk to her about Jesus... I have never ever had that feeling before. With that 1 feeling, a million question followed in my already confused mind. And the angel and the demon appeared on my head and started their conversation. Somehow, their voices were louder than the high volume of my ipod!
And finally, my the angel won by poking & pricking my conscience. So i gave in. In the 5 hour journey, 3 hours i spent figuring out whether i should talk to her or just mute the idea! I also prepared a speech in my mind about the life of Jesus from the little bits i knew. Finally, with all my courage, I turned to her (for the 1st time I saw her face), I said hi, introduced myself, and asked about her. She dint say her name. From the looks, I could guess she was from a traditional hindu background. She said she was going with her family to visit her parents. I took a pause and asked her if she knew about Jesus. She gave me a weird surprised look and told me "Yes, I got converted in my childhood itself". Now the demon popped out of a cloud of smoke telling me "What the hell! She already knows. Whats the point of u talking to her about God!" So, I shut my mouth again and was just about to plug my earphones back into my ears. She laid her hand on mine. and I stopped and turned back to her.
She began telling me the story of her life. She was a born Hindu, her mom was demon possessed and some men of God helped to get rid of it. From then, the family turned to christianity. Her name was Baby. She studied till 8th grade. She was later married to a hindu guy, who believed in christ partially. But he wouldnt acknowledge, because his parents were against it. She faced a lot of trouble from her inlaws. She is a mother of 2 beautiful kids. But always, she was consistent in her prayer.
She said, "you dint notice, but when I got into the bus, I had tears in my eyes." She said her husband had debts and her inlaws abuse her for being a christian and so on. She said, my 1 question "Do you know about Jesus" was an answer to all the million questions in her mind. She said God has always been answering her prayers and she was very thankful to me for asking her that one simple question and the brief conversation.
After the incident, the joy that followed... it was awsome. He used me as a channel. And I felt so blessed. I know God is there. And I learnt a lot from that lady. Faith was an important lesson.
